MINISTRIES

Sunday Morning is Just the Start

At CrossWay Community Church, we believe that attendance on Sunday mornings is just the start of what Christian community should look like. We have opportunities to get plugged into small groups, take classes, serve the neighborhood, and make genuine connection with other people.

CARE GROUPS

Build community by joining a small group

The bread and butter of church life at CrossWay is Sunday morning worship and small group meetings (Care Groups) during the week. Care Groups are the context to build deep relationships while caring for each other, while also studying and applying the weekly sermon. We dive deep into God’s Word and one another’s lives bringing support, application, and encouragement as we follow Christ together. Care Groups meet one evening each week and all are welcome from age 15 and up. If you are interested in a Care Group please contact a Care Group leader or the church office at [email protected].

MEMBERSHIP CLASS

Learn more about our church family

Whether you have decided to join our church family or simply wish to learn more about our church, the membership class is an excellent resource for you. For four weeks, we meet in a casual setting, usually on Sunday afternoons, to examine basic Bible doctrines and practices and how they are lived out in our church. There is plenty of time for discussion and getting to know one another. We begin membership classes on an as-needed basis, so if you are interested, please contact a pastor, deacon, usher, or email the church office at [email protected].

ALPHA COURSE

Explore faith & enjoy community

The Alpha Course has been held all over the world since the 1990’s in churches, homes, schools, universities, and prisons. Alpha is an opportunity to invite family, friends, or anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting. The course includes 8 thought-provoking weekly sessions, and one weekend. It’s free dinner, low-key conversation, and friendly fun. Many Alpha friendships last long after the course.

CROSSWAY COLLEGE

Classes and training to help you grow

CrossWay College offers intermittent classes that anyone can attend. Each class has a unique topic and lasts typically 4–6 weeks. Topics can include a specific doctrine, aspects of spiritual growth, church history, or a book/video study. When a class is in session, CrossWay College meets from 8:509:45 AM before church services begin.

GOSPEL CARE

Living & sharing God's redemption story

Gospel Care is all about helping people turn from their story of redemption to God’s story of redemption by equipping the saints to minister to one another in community. While training seminars happen a few times a year, Gospel Care is lived out daily in simple, meaningful moments like conversations over coffee. We want to be a church that encourages one another to live out of a beautiful Gospel theology. Gospel Care occurs whenever God’s people engage in conversations that are anchored in Scripture, centered on Christ and the Gospel, grounded in sound theology, dependent on the Holy Spirit and prayer, directed toward sanctification, rooted in the life of the church, founded in love, attentive to heart issues, comprehensive in understanding, thorough in care, practical and relevant, and oriented toward making disciples of Jesus Christ. This is the purpose of Gospel Care.
